Online Perforation vs. Paper Perforation
- Paper perforation: Holes are created in cigarette filter paper or tipping paper before the cigarette is manufactured. Advantage: high flexibility and easy adjustment of hole size, quantity, and pattern via software.
- Online perforation: Perforation is performed during the production process on the finished cigarette or HNB stick.
Advantage: individually adjustable ventilation directly in the finished product, ideal for specific brand requirements or thicker cardboard materials used in HNB products.
